Patsy Rowe with supporter, Publisher, Clare Urwin at the Mexican Dinner held at Mexi's Resautant to raise money to rescue Moon Bears in China and Vietnam which are imprisoned in cages and milked for their bile. This is the cruellest practice and many of these poor bears live out their entire lives in cages so small they are forced to lie virtually immobile on their backs. for their whole lives
Patsy arranges one fundraiser a year in order to be able to pay off the bile farmers and help them find alternative employment thus giving them no reason to hold on to their bears. Jill Robinson in Hong Kong rescues them and if they're one of the lucky ones, the rest of their lives in spent in a tranquil sanctuary.
